Are you just starting out with TIG welding, or are you looking to refine your skills? Then our course will come in handy for sure. Experienced instructors will teach you everything about the TIG welding process.
What is TIG welding?
TIG welding is an arc welding process: you strike an electric arc between a tungsten electrode and the workpiece. As the tungsten electrode does not melt, no filler metal is required. A shielding gas protects the welding area from atmospheric gas.
You can join together very thin gauge tubes, sheets and combinations using TIG welding. For thicker gauges this process is combined with other welding processes, such as semi-automatic welding and shielded-electrode welding.
TIG welding is very common in the following sectors:
- Pressure vessels
