What is brazing/soldering?

Brazing and soldering are processes for joining two metals together without actually having to melt them. A flammable gas mixture acts as a heat source (usually oxygen and acetylene, but alternatives such as hydrogen are also possible).

Options

Our course offers not just classic copper to copper joining, but equally also joining copper to stainless steel and other metals.

Applications

Brazing and soldering are often used for special joins in equipment, pumps, transformers and other structures in:

• Air conditioning
• Cooling equipment
